This is the most common question we get asked and the truth is, it really comes down to you.
A capsule offers such convenience, it’s quick & simple, you don’t have to mix it with anything, and for some the most important deciding factor is… you don’t have to taste it! Yes, the powder does come with a very distinctive ‘earthy’ flavour and if you are someone that isn’t too keen on strong tastes it may not be for you.
BUT before you rule the powder out, it is important that we mention... it does have the edge on the health benefits side. It is slightly stronger per dose with the curcumin content being higher and obviously being a loose powder, it gets into your system that much quicker. Plus, the additional ingredients found in the powder, such as the ginger, cinnamon, green tea & papaya are all commonly used for their many potential benefits. They could bring about additional anti-oxidants as well as anti-inflammatory properties.
So the honest answer is, the powder is slightly stronger… BUT it only works if you actually take it, and if the taste and having to mix it each day could be enough to stop you using it regularly maybe you’re best off giving the capsules a try? We do find a lot of customers start with the capsules and over time, once they are 100% sold on the benefits, they move on to use the powder.

Nope! Our capsule shells are made from plant cellulose. Honest. Natural. Effective.
We only offer loose powder capsules because that means we can make them for you without any additives and can ensure that every last grain in those capsules is made up of the active ingredients that are paying for. To create a pressed tablet it requires glue, binders, fillers, and coating… yuk!
You can use the powder in any food and drink and that of course includes in cooking if you wish… HOWEVER we would recommend that to harness the full power of the curcumin you try not to bring it boiling temperature as it will reduce the efficacy. Our advice would be to continue to use culinary turmeric in recipes and keep your TURMERIC [blend] as a health product. If you want to add it to a warm dish maybe sprinkle it on or stir it on after taking it off the heat.
All of our blends are research based and carefully formulated by our Supplement Development team. All of our supplements are manufactured under GMP compliance (Good Manufacturing Practices). All ingredients are carefully sourced from trusted suppliers, all of this ensures the production of quality safe food supplements. Each ingredient that goes into our blends has been tested and certificates of analysis are available for every batch of raw material used with full traceability records.
Our products are manufactured in an ISO Class 8 Pharmaceutical clean room, with air and temperature levels automatically controlled (an impressive 20 complete air changes every hour!). The entire production process from unpacking the raw materials to packaging the finished blends happens inside the clean room to maintain product quality.

If you want to make changes to your subscription, you can do so at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your plan. You can manage your subscription from there or, if you have activated your customer account you can opt to log in and control your subscription from your dashboard.
Shop Pay is Shopify’s accelerated checkout option that lets customers save their shipping, billing, and payment info for faster purchases across any Shopify store (as ours is).
If you used Shop Pay to purchase from our store, your subscription payments are securely processed through your saved Shop Pay card. However, updating your payment info must be done through Shop Pay, not directly through our website.
Please follow the steps below to update your payment details for an existing subscription with Nature Squared:
- Start from the email you received from us regarding your subscription. This is important—updating your card directly in Shop Pay (without using the link in our email) may not apply the changes to your subscription. You’ll receive this email either because a payment attempt failed, or you attempt to update your subscription card details from within your account on the Nature Squared website.
- Click the link to update payment details in the email. This will open Shop Pay, where you may need to log in.
- Log in to Shop Pay using your email address. You may also receive a text message with a code for verification.
- Once logged in, you’ll be taken to the “Edit payment method” page for your subscription.
- Update your card details and click “Update”, even if the card looks correct. This step ensures the card is properly linked to your subscription, even if you recently updated it in Shop Pay elsewhere.
- You may be prompted to authorise the change via your banking app (if required).
- After authorisation, Shop Pay should confirm the update, and your new card will be linked to your subscription.
What happens next?
Your subscription will attempt to charge the new card during the next billing cycle. If a payment fails, the system will retry every 2 days. After several failed attempts, the system may skip your subscription.

We strive aim to process all orders placed before 12 noon on the same day although there may be up to 24 hours delay during busy times. All UK orders are sent using Royal Mail 48 tracked service unless you choose to upgrade to Royal Mail 24 at checkout. For international orders Nature Squared is not responsible for any customs and duties charges incurred.
You can return any of our products within 28 days of the order date. Products must be unopened and undamaged and in their original state. If you wish to return a product please contact us via email or live chat and we will send you, a full refund will be issued on receipt of your return. We cannot reimburse cost of return postage and would recommend you use a tracked service. See returns policy for more information.
Yes absolutely, all of our packaging is 100% recyclable. Check your local recycling rules for instruction as to how & where. We also strive to use only eco friendly postage packaging.
